PNWERC is a non-profit organization designated by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) to source foreign capital for investment in the Pacific Northwest – specifically, the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Green Truck I Limited Partnership (the “Partner-ship”) will invest much needed capital into the dynamic green transportation economy of the Pacific Northwest. The Partnership is a New Commercial Enterprise that will help Fleet Members deploy more environmentally friendly and efficient Green Trucks in compliance with California’s new emissions standards. David Andersson, President and CEO of PNWERC, has a successful track record as a Regional Center manager. Working with economic development officials, business leaders, and immigration specialists, Mr. Andersson’s team has achieved a 100% success rate for the many immigrant investors who now call America home. Mr. Andersson contributes to the Regional Center industry as President of the Association to Invest in the USA (IIUSA), President of the Whatcom Opportunities Regional Center, Inc., Chairman of the Pacific Corridor Enterprise Council (P ACE), and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Investor (EB-5) Committee. Alfred Portillo, Vice President of Operations, has over 25 years’ experience in trucking and transportation operations, management, safety, and sales and has applied his expertise to assist both transportation companies and drivers to understand and comply with state and federal regulations. She has developed and implemented winning formulas for effective truck financing as Finance Manager with Kenworth Northwest, and more recently as District Manager for Key Equipment Finance (an affiliate of KeyBank, a large financial institution). About US Citizenship
A citizen of the United States is a native-born, foreign-born or naturalized person, who owes allegiance to United States and who is entitled to its protection. In addition to the naturalization process, United States recognizes US citizenship of individuals according to two fundamental principles: US Soli or Right of Birth Place and Jus Sanguinis or Right of Blood. As a citizen, you get unique rights and privileges which include the right to vote, having a US passport, the US government’s protection when abroad and the Right to Petition for Green Cards for your children and close relatives. As a US citizen, you cannot be deported or lose your citizenship even if you commit a crime or choose to live elsewhere in the world, unless you misrepresent yourself to get citizenship or become ineligible at the time. Naturalization is the way; immigrants become citizens of the United States. The general requirements for administrative naturalization include:
• A period of continuous residence and physical presence in the United States.
• An ability to read, write and speak English.
• Good moral character.
• Attachment to the principles of the US Constitution.
• Favourable disposition towards the United States.
All naturalization applicants must demonstrate good moral character, attachment and favorable disposition. The other naturalization requirements may be modified or waived for certain applicants, such as spouses of US Citizens.
